Worgen Arrow and Minimap problem.
Hi, i'm not sure if its a bug in my UI or its a bug in the code, but the arrow and minimap dot does not show up after a few quests into the worgen starting area. I have tried resetting multiple times and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Blizzard screwed up some stuff this patch in the Worgen starting area with the maps. The wrong map is showing up for this phase, and possibly others. I submitted a fix for the first phase near the "Among Humans Again" quest where it is showing the submerged map instead of the solid terrain map. The fix will be out in the next update of BoosterAlliance. If you run into any other phases where the arrow stops working during the worgen starting guide, please let me know. Also, if you could type the following two commands and let me know the results when this happens it will be of great help when fixing the issue.
/dump GetMapInfo()
/dump GetCurrentMapAreaID()

I'm not certain if it is still a client bug, but for a long time WoW actually had a problem with the new areas. It could be that, even though the problem has been fixed on the game side, it may not have been updated everywhere yet...for instance, CarboniteAddon still shows all of the worgen initial area (harbor) to be completely underwater when its not until after the phasing.Comment -

ok guys i just did the first part of the wargen starting area and the arrow and ant trails disapear @ step 61 "among Humans" there is a cinamatic just before it and after cinamatic arrow and aunt dots are gone this is at 25% of guide completion wargen warlock-
When you were looking into this issue, did you actually reach this point in the guide or just check off steps up to this point? When I manually check off steps to this point, the arrow does indeed stop appearing while I am in the city due to some map library stuff, but it is still appearing properly on the world map, and should be appearing properly when you are in the area.

I created a wargen warlock and actuly played to the among humans again quest and that is where it disapears

I'm having this issue too. I am further along than what you are mentioning here. Do you want this /dump info from a further along stage?

If you are still in the area, then yes we could definitely use the /dump info, along with the quest you are on when you do the /dump.

Here's something that might help. I just finished freeing the last of the 5 slaves for 'Liberation Day'. As soon as the 5th was freed, my waypoint arrow popped back up.

This can ́t be easily fixed by Waypoints, because Blizzard crashed some Map information, which leds to this error also with Blizzards automatic quest system

Yeah, this is an issue we can't fix. It'll go in and out al the way through the worgen area. then it'll work fine in the rest of the game.
