i cant get it to work on my mac sry

i have the addons in my folder but when i open the game i only get the manacore hub and the tycoon icon is not on and i cant open anything can you help amigo9529@gmail.com

i have downloaded update twice and still no new routes for pandaria. am i doing something wrong. downloaded then erased it cause i thought i did it wrong the redownloaded it and still no routes. any info would be appreciated. thanks

Check that out. read carefully. i've said this over and over if you have time to look at the other posts with the same subject. it's going to take more than a few scans in one day to get any sort of good informatino. It's going to take at the very least a week of scans once or twice a day to get any trustworthy informatino. You can definitely use the routes that're included to get started making money till you build up the info, but those scans are needed to get anything. Tycoon uses the scans, and has special algorithms that take into account high priced stuff that's not realisticly priced, takes into account hte amounts of stuff it sees posted. Since blizzard wont let anyones ee what sells or for how much stuff sells, we have to use a lot of data put together over a good amount of time in order to get the info to give you so you don't have to sit and figure all of it out yourself.

The filters in the drop down simply make the stuff show that you want to see. just hit show all and it'll show everything available wether you ahve the professions or not. With the auction tab, that's not going to work at all unless it has enough infomration to start working. because again this addon is meant to take all the hard stuff out so you don't have to deal with the information overload. You don't have to do all the research, you don't have to figure out exactly whatyou need to do to get rich. all you have to do is login and do a scan once or twice a day till you start seein big money. Then you can back off and scan every other day or so and still keep makin money by seeing all the info laid out. but most improtant thing to take away is how important it is to open the AH and hit the scan button once or twice a day.

This is nice cause i just have to cut and paste the info i've typed in other posts.

auctioneer doesnt show up on the manacore thing, it only really comes into play when you open the the auction house, i has adds scan functions advanced searches and a few other things that make buying/selling easier, tycoon then uses the info to tell you what you should buy/sell.

as to why tycoon isnt showing up for you, i dunno, but yes the greyed out "t" on themanacore is the tycoon button

Thanks for the MOP update. The AH tab is working perfectly but the rest of the addon is not really updated:

1) Gathering. Doesn't show any MOP herbs/minerals etc
2) Farming. As above - please don't make me farm Volatile Air anymore :-)
3) Crafting. Some recipes are displayed e.g. JC rings/necks but e.g, no MOP cuts.

btw installed update when it was released and have 8 days regular AH scans.

Just one point though - I'm using the existing Tycoon saved variables (which have absolutely worked fine and thrown up no errors). Should i clear the folder or is the above still a work in progress?

I've talked about htis before quite a few times. gathering and farming are going to take some time to get through and get out. first we have to gather enough data for each zone to make a proper route, then we have to test and re-test these routes as well as getting money data for each of them. it'll be a couple weeks. PLUS in addition to all the other stuff for all the addons, i have to level to 90 on two characters to get high enough to get the route info to you guys. Can't do taht stuff in beta, as the routes would work for beta but not live. But i've said all this before in a couple other posts.

I"ll look into the jc stuff, thought i had included cuts, but i may not have.
Keep in mind i do all the content, all the programming for all our addons. So stuff takes time. PLUS i have to do a re-write on all the addons to fix the crap that others have screwed with and to make hte addons better for everyone and focused more on what they're for instead of adding stupid crap that just breaks and isn't even related to what it's supposed to be doing. I'm super busy, but i'm getting htings done. It just takes time.

Buddy I do appreciate all you're doing but imo and I'm sure I'll get flamed down by all here but your whole model isn't working. You've said it yourself - you're doing all the work and basically supporting a large client base that may have purchased your product some years back.

I paid i believe about $35 a year ago for Tycoon - since then you've done multiple updates, added new patch stuff and now done a new MOP version. And I haven't paid a penny more.

I don't believe it's a sustainable model unless your new sales are absolutely through the roof and stay consistently high.

Personally I would be happier paying a monthly fee /and or fees for updates - this way you can hire a couple of developers and make the products even better... and maybe put your feet up too :-)

This is not a criticism in any way, I run a digital design company and I've learnt the hard way that a sustainable profit model requires on-going contract support fees in addition to new product sales, unless of course you have a very high turnover of sales.

Sounds like you don't have the Manacore dependency enabled. In WOW go into addons and see if Tycoon has "Dependency Disabled" next to it. If so - look for Manacore in addons - if it's there tick it - if it's not there - do the following:

Goto WOW folder > Interface > Addons.

Look for the Manacore folder - check that all the data is within the first Manacore folder and not within a subfolder called Manacore.

Move all the data to the root Manacore folder.

This happens if you unzip Manacore to a folder - as it creates manacore>manacore>data...

Hope that was it...

All of your products have been updated????? Well, I purchased your gold making add on early last year and I have NEVER even had one email from you to let me know that there are updates available. In fact, I have never even had one email from you until a couple of days ago informing me of a sale, trying to get me to buy more of your stuff. Your updater has been down since way last year and it is still down and you are expecting everyone to become computer whizes over night so that you do not have to update the installer. Dugy of Dugy guides updates his installer every couple of months and his add ons are updated about every week AND he informs me by email every time he updates AND it is all automatic. Can you tell me why I should purchase any more of your products when you obviously do not have my interests at heart???

This was 5 months ago, and we update at least once or wtwice a month. that's why we got the forum, i post in here every time the addons are update. WE decided not to send out emails that could end up spam in most peoples inboxes if we update as often as we do.

In error i deleted my saved variables and i think this is why none of the Mop areas are showing up,...anyway this could be fixed? please help.
